Configuring code tables
The IEE code tables populate the database and the IEE user interface with values specific to your organization. For example, use code tables to assign IDs and descriptions to read cycles, customer types, external systems, and route hierarchy levels.
The IDs in the code tables populate dropdown menus, reports, and other features throughout IEE. The descriptions elaborate on the IDs. For example, you might create a route area type with an ID of "Town," and then enter "Population 1,000 to 99,999" for the description. A route area type with an ID of "City" could have a description of "Population of 100,000 or greater."
In many cases, the values in the code tables match the values configured in the collection systems that communicate with IEE.
